Handrail to Newel Post Spring Bolt
 
Overview
The Handrail to Newel Post Spring-Bolt (120mm) are designed for connecting timber handrails to newel posts.  It is equally useful for connecting very large spindles / baulstrades to treads and landings for timber or stone staircases.
 
Installation
Compared to traditional rail bolt kits the Handrail to Newel Post Spring-Bolt provides a much easier and quicker installation process. Requiring only basic carpentry skills and a 25mm Forstner Bit. Spring-Bolt Epoxy Glue should be used to combine the springs and centre bar. Both these products are available in our online shop.
 
Like all of the Spring-Bolt range the Standard Spring Bolt can be dry assembled and disassembled as many times as is necessary should you find you need to make minor adjustments prior to glueing. 
 
The recommended adhesive for the handrail endgrain is Titebond 111, or similar.
